Decoration Day ~ Flowering of the Graves

The honoring of "those gone before" begins at The Hunter House Victorian Museum. Tour the museum with a focus on 19th century mourning customs and etiquette. We will move onto Elmwood Cemetery where an outdoor picnic will be waiting. As tradition had it, all cemetery graves were adorned with fresh flowers and greens. We ask that you please bring flowers to help continue with this memorial tradition.
