At Home with the Lady of the House
Sip a cup of tea and tour the museum through the eyes of the lady of the house— woman, wife and mother.

Stroll through the Historic Freemason District with one of the museum’s docents who lives in the neighborhood. You will finish in time to enjoy lunch in one of the area’s unique restaurants.

Long Live The Queen
In honor of the birthday of Victoria, the queen of our hearts, The Hunter House Victorian Museum will offer tours at no charge during the month of May. And just for fun…

Royal Trivia
How well do you know your British history and its
monarchs? Call the museum for a copy of our “Royal Trivia” questions; you could win a special prize. Do not be afraid, the questions will be easy and all entries will be eligible for the prize.

A Royal Tea

Toast Queen Victoria at this afternoon’s elegant tea of sweets, savories and champagne.

Lest We Forget
Saturday, May 31  11AM Elmwood Cemetery $20
Join “family” members celebrating Decoration Day at Elmwood Cemetery with and old fashioned
southern picnic. A guided tour through the cemetery will follow lunch. The tour stops at the recently
vandalized Core Mausoleum. Proceeds from today’s program will be donated to the Core Restoration
administered by the Friends of Norfolk’s Historic Cemeteries.
