Admission and General Tour Information

The Hunter House Victorian Museum is located at 240 W. Freemason Street in the Historic Freemason District in downtown Norfolk, Virginia.The museum is open to the general public for touring seasonally April through December.​

Currently closed for tours, will re-open for tours April 2026

The museum is closed on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, major holidays, and for special events. Please call ahead to ensure we are available for public tours.​​​

Guided Tours 12PM & 2PM

Self-Guided Tours all other times

Walk-in guided tours are accepted when possible. 

​

Please allow between half an hour and one hour for your guided tour. Self-guided tours are available throughout day. Walk-in tours are accepted when possible. â€‹â€‹

Admission Rates

The Hunter House Victorian Museum is now admission free! Because of this, donations are greatly appreciated.

​

Group tours for 8 or more guests are available year-round with advance reservations. Please call the museum at 757-623-9814 for details and reservations.
