At Hunter House Victorian Museum, we aspire to be more than simply a collection of unique objects. We are devoted to creating a living, interactive learning experience through events and exhibitions. Our carefully curated private collection attempts to impart our knowledge and ideas, and instills excitement and imagination in our visitors. The Museum is closed May 29th through June 6th for the installation of our 2023 summer exhibit.
We will re-open on Wednesday, June 7th from 10am-4pm with our new exhibit The Whitecoat Revolution. This exhibit will highlight Victorian era medicine, the life and medical practice of Dr. James Wilson Hunter Jr, and contain never-before-displayed items from the Hunter Family Archival Collection. We hope to see you this summer!
The Hunter House Victorian Museum serves as a rich example of Victorian decorative arts and architecture. Guests are invited to meet the Hunters as they tour two floors of the home, which feature the Hunter family’s collection of furniture, books, decorative objects, and more. Join us and transport yourself to the splendor and opulence of the Victorian Era!
The museum is open April through December, Wednesdays- Saturdays. Tour reservations are reccomended for groups of 6 or more. Email email@example.com to make your reservation.
